Management Assessment
Human capital is the most valuable asset of any organization. At Karma International, we help our clients identify the total talent needs against organizational development requirements. This is particularly critical in the situation of mergers and acquisitions, significant shift of corporate strategies, positioning in new markets, and succession planning. In each of these situations, we would work closely with our clients to determine how their management team is positioned and whether there is any need for additional talent enhancement.
Our assessment process consists of the following five critical steps:
- Scoping: We normally begin our engagement with a joint assessment with our client of the required scope of work to understand what the objective is, how the assessment will help to achieve it, who will be involved, what will be required, what the deliverables are, etc.
- Framework: We will then design and develop a framework to determine the competencies and their specifics to establish the benchmark against which the assessment will be conducted. This framework will need to be agreed by the client before assessment takes place.
- Assessing: We will conduct a formal interview in conjunction with cross reference taking. The interview will be conducted against the agreed framework and may occasionally include any additional requirements that the client would determine appropriate.
- Reporting: Thereafter we will prepare and submit our Confidential Assessment Report on each executive.
- Feedback: Depending on client requirement, we could either join our client or let the client to share the assessment result with the executives as feedback. However, in certain situations client may prefer to retain the assessment result for internal use instead of feedback.
